1. Purpose

The Canadian Road Safety Innovation Foundation ("CRSIF") is committed to protecting privacy while supporting research, education, community road safety observation, dashboards and prevention-oriented road safety intelligence.

2. Information We May Collect

CRSIF may collect basic contact information submitted through inquiry forms or email, organization information from potential partners, and non-personal road safety observation data used for research, reporting and community safety analysis.

3. Information We Do Not Seek to Collect

CRSIF does not seek to collect licence plates, individual driver identities, personal enforcement evidence or information intended to identify specific road users.

4. How Information May Be Used

Information may be used to respond to inquiries, support pilot discussions, prepare reports, create aggregated dashboards, improve road safety programs, support student or community participation, and communicate with partners.

5. Aggregated Reporting

CRSIF's public-facing reporting is intended to focus on aggregated locations, patterns and safety signals rather than personal identification.

6. Student and Volunteer Participation

Student and volunteer activities should be structured, supervised, non-confrontational and privacy-conscious. Participants should not confront drivers, record licence plates or collect personal driver information.

7. Data Security

CRSIF intends to use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved.
